This is probably best for someone in an apartment who wants to grow a vine type plant or vegetable in a pot on the balcony.

The rings are 3D printed, and then you just need to snip apart some coat hangers to the height you want each ‘level’ to be, insert the ends into the holes in the rings. The coat hangers on the very bottom go directly into the soil.

The holes are 2.1 mm in diameter, which worked well for the hangers I get from my dry cleaner. Different types of coat hangers may have a smaller or larger diameter and require you to scrape out filament to make the hole wider or use glue if your hangers are smaller, but mine fit pretty snugly as is.

The rings get progressively smaller so you can print on one build plate, but if you want them all the same size you can delete individual objects in your slicer and print them one at a time.
