Ender 3, CR10, Sunlu S8 and many more printers have 2040 or 4040 extrusion bars on which the z-axis stepper motors are attached.
This univeral mount does:
Allow you to align the distance beweetn the stepper motor and the z-axis (common Problem with the original Ender 3)
Allow you to use F9-20M Thrust Bearings and fixed couplers to reduce the load of the stepper motors shaft as the whole weight only pushes on the stepper body, not the shaft anymore.
Bill of Materials:
Thrust-Bearings F9-20M (can be sourced from Ebay, Amazon, local hardware stores and Aliexpress)
6x of M4 t-nuts for 2020 / 4040 extrustions
6x of M4/10mm screws (Maybe use larger, if you plan to add washers)
8x of M3/10mm screws
Printing:
Print Upside down.
PETG or ASA preferred - These motors can get warm.
Usually you don't need supports, if in doubt: Add support for the m3 like the gcode example.
