I've tried multiple different options for cameras/mounts on the XL.  The side-mounted option I tried made it very difficult to see small prints and the first layer, so I moved on to a center-based one.  The smartphone holder was better, but I wanted a live view instead of the Prusa Connect 10-second snap shots, so I could monitor for failing prints.

I had a Gen1 Wyze from way back and it was great, def got the job done, but since it's not available, it's a pretty big gap between it and the Prusa XL, it's also not compatible with the streaming option on Wyze.  The Wyze Cam OG however is, though you have to pay $3/mo I believe, which I'm not doing.  Instead, I'm using the Bluestacks Android Emulator App to run the Wyze Android app from my Windows computer.  It's very simple to setup as emulators go.

I went with the WYZE Cam Go because it's only $19, you can grab it HERE
Even though I didn't get the web streaming upgrade, I did get color night vision which is definitely an upgrade.

There are multiple arm-length options.  v2 is what is in the preview images.  It can be angled back some to view more of the build plate.  The largest one would be even better for getting the full plate into view.

I added different screw lengths and spacers so you can adjust the height as desired.  I'm using a lower angle for now.  It's great for checking 1st layer adhesion for smaller prints, but not great for further into larger ones. Screw longer and the larger spacer are shown in the picture.

Planned Upgrades:
(speed of the upgrades will depend on the popularity of the post)
- integrate back in angle adjustment for camera: it was just easier to add without
- considering a more streamlined height adjustment system

Differences of the remix compared to the original

I wanted closer to the center, so I extended the arm.  I also swapped the phone mount for a WYZE Cam Go one and extended the screw for height adjustments.
