@RedWish has made an awesome collection of mods to do a full-size Zeropanel mod on the V0.2 printers using clear Acrylic, where the panels can easily be removed. He specified the panels to be cut with a CNC laser, which of course not many people have access to.
All the panels can be neatly cut with a circular table saw without issue, except for the ventilation and fan slots on the rear acrylic panel. I've made some jigs that can be stuck to the protective plastic membrane of the Acrylic sheet and these can be used as cutting guides for a trim router with a flush trim bit. I've had excellent results using this approach on my build.
Of course, I've had to change the design a bit to make it more practical to use a router, as it's pretty hard to make small delicate cuts with a router. So in addition to the jigs, I've remixed or designed ventilation covers that can be printed as big pieces and stuck to the panels. I've also included a slightly larger version of the dual PTFE tube adapter to hide any overcuts made in the acrylic.
Lastly, I've used a 6020 fan (as I have a lot of them) rather than the bigger fan used in the original design. There are many 6020 fan cover mods out there to choose from.
Lastly, I'm limited to the License conditions of the original file that I remixed - so that I cannot change to GPL3
The author remixed this model.
The original model has a CNC cut rear Acrylic panel. This remix is a set of jigs to allow a small router to be used to accurately cut the acrylic rear panel
