Printed both the brass insert and screw only versions, just so I had an option.
Went with the screw only insert.
Threaded screw into the holder to create the threads before install.
Install was pretty easy and feels sturdy enough for the job.
Only issue/comments are:
1.) The endoscope ID is a bit bigger than my scope, but a dab of hot glue or a touch up with a 3D pen will take care of that.
2.) the scope tube is a pretty thin wall. I felt like I was going to crush or crack it, trying to remove the supports.
Over all, good add-on. I printed 2 other holders, but both will interfere with the extruder vizualizer I use. This holder is low profile and doesn’t get in the way.
