After printing out some pre-made wands from Harry Potter movies, I decided to create my own design. I tried making it as printable as possible - so there is a nice spot in the middle where you can slice it in half and then print those halves (cut facing down) without any supports. 

I included the model for the whole wand, as well as files for the cut version, including connecting pin. If printing the cut version, no supports are necessary, but I would recommend using brims, because the bottom area is very small due to the hole for pin.

The pre-sliced file is what I used for my Prusa MK3.

 

As for post processing - I glued the two parts together and then used simple brown acrylic paint to cover the whole thing in a uniform color. Then I used black paint wash to add depth, and lighter whitish hue with dry brush to achieve the “weared” look.
