An experimental 5° BCAR for the Dart Zone Pro MK3. Designed for Worker half length darts and made to fit into a Banned Blasters cage. Friction fits into the blaster using the cage and muzzle, with a piece to keep it in place. Still in testing, but firing demo footage seems to show an accuracy increase. Adding a BCAR to flywheels is still relatively new, so there are many other things to test, such as degree, distance from flywheels, inner diameter, amount of bearings, etc.

Sometimes a dart might get stuck in the bearings, simply remove the piece that keeps the BCAR in the muzzle, pull it out, and remove the dart. Please don't attempt to keep shooting darts through it.

I believe that darts getting stuck on the bearings is a problem all flywheel BCARs encounter and not a design issue. My theory is that the flywheels are rough on the heads of darts, which can cause them to jam. Using fresh darts should allow smooth operation. In addition, in a springer, air is still pushing the dart through the blaster, even when it reaches the BCAR. In a flywheeler, the dart no longer has any propulsion after it leaves the flywheels.

Do NOT shoot wide head darts such as Adventure Force waffles through this.

Not tested with the stock cage. 5° was chosen based on info from the comments of this video:

For lower fps like the stock cage a larger degree is recommended.

Requires:

  • 9x F683ZZ flanged bearings
  • 9x 3x14mm dowel pins

Firing demo:
12v NiMH, Banned Blasters cage, Talon mag, Worker Green tips, Kraken pusher
