The board game Deep Rock Galactic comes with a huge number of little parts and these boxes help organise them. The boxes are sized to just fit in the large indentation in the game box.
Very easy to print. Print in PLA with 0.4 nozzle at 0.2 layer height, no support needed. Variable layer height can speed things up if you like, and with or without input shaper all works well.
When first printed, they can be a little tight to close and open. This is deliberate because we want the lids to be a nice close fit. To fix, the trick is to put them in water and then put the lids on and off repeatedly to rub down any roughness or strings that might be catching. (The water stops heat from friction accumulating.)
If you find these useful please give it a star rating, and upload a photo of your print to make them more visible online. The bottom of each compartment is filleted round to make it easier to get out the tiny parts with your finger. And they are even suitably themed with an incised hexagon. . . Rock And Stooooone!
