The original design is almost perfect except sometimes melted plastic will stick to it. The blobs that stick to it didn't ever cause me problems but they certainly caused me anxiety and concern. In the end I redesigned it. My design uses either a 2mm or 3mm silicon sheet. The 3mm design includes either a straight cut or a curved cut. The curved cut provides more positive pressure to the silicon when wiping which provides a better more reliable result.

Update 22Nov23: Added the self dubbed “ham sandwich”. Takes more work but wow is it solid! Needs a M3 heat set insert. Its a slightly longer sheet slot to get a better grip on the silicon sheet. Its not necessary but ever since I started using the Curved version, I started adding a dab of rubber cement to the bottom to keep it securely in place. I havn't had to on the Sandwich Stack version. This design is very rigid, locates via locating pins, and is securely held by sandwiching the tongue Bambu originally designed into their chute. This is now my preferred wiper method.
