This has not reached its final form, and I'm seeing this version as a proof of concept.
I'm not sharing a tutorial, code, schematics or anything else just yet :)
This version of the motorized PS2014 uses an Arduino UNO, a geared DC Motor and a lead screw. Everything is mounted on top of the lamp's corpus, which allows usage of a regular lightbulb.
There are several variants of the PS2014 lamp, this model is designed for the bigger, 52cm version.
My tests have proven that printing without top/bottom layers and using any stale infill at around 25-35% is enough. Disable combing mode if you want the visible infill to look pretty.
Printing with higher infill, top/bottom layers, or editing the model to add more thickness are all viable options if you need more rigidity.
I have uploaded the specific files for my version, usable with the exact motor and bracket.
You will also find “raw” platforms to build your own version with.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
