Drill Powered Paint Mixer.
3D printed or built with off the shelf parts
Base to hold drill in place
Support with bearing to hold the mixing tube.
Tube to hold paint can while spinning it.
I have used this for years and it works great.
No more shaking cans for 2 minutes.
I have one can mixing while i am using another.
You can
3D print the:
Tube, Support and 2*Base then provide a bearing and bolts to assemble.
I included 6mm dowel files if you wish to just print those and use them rather than bolts. (https://www.printables.com/model/578658-ikea-dowel-pin-collection)
I includes 6mm Bearing file for reference and Design also. (https://www.printables.com/model/121422-6008zz-bearing-skateboard-bearing)
or
Purchase:
PVC pipe large enough to hold paint can (approx 3" ID and Minimum 8.5 inch long)
Wing nut expansion plug/Drain Plug (3" OD to close off the drill end of the tube while providing bolt shaft to connect drill)
Use wood to create base (Mine needed to be 18.5 inch from support to back of drill battery)
Use wood to create support (Mine needed to be tall enough to hold a bearing 9" above base)
And that's about it. Mount it to your bench and use a zip tie to hold the trigger of drill in desired speed position. (it does not need to go fast) I just remove the battery when not using it. Or you could remove the zip tie.
Please like, download, make and report your results. Its helps us all.
P.S. I included a Black and Decker Drill Assembly just for reference or design needs.
P.S.S All other parts you may need have part files for inventor included also.
