Motion sensing lights are great, except when they are going off randomly as wind or rain swirls making your trees and bushes dance. And unfortunately, most of the battery powered units don't have an ON/OFF switch. This simple visor can be lowered in front of the motion sensor to effectively disable it, saving both your batteries and your sanity. It is designed for the popular Beams model MB369XT battery powered spotlight.
The unit consists of a base piece that clips over the body of the light, and a movable visor that clips over the base piece. The base piece also acts as a partial fixed visor to prevent annoying vertical up-wash of the light.
Printing
Prints easily in most any filament and without supports. I used PLA, but you might want to use ASA if yours will be in the sunlight. The parts include mouse-ear brims to keep them attached to your bed while printing.
After printing, just peel off the mouse ears, clip the movable visor onto the base, and then snap the whole thing onto your light.
