Pool Filter Washing Stand V2

**** Please Note This Uses ¾ aluminum tubing you can find at Home Depot or Lowes and NOT conduit piping.  I used the aluminum so that it would last and not rust****

This is an update to my original spinning pool filter stand.  When you spray the filter to wash it the force of the water spins the filter helping to get it clean  Inspired by Cyclone Filter Cleaner… but this version does not cost $300.00!

Recommend using ¾ aluminum tubing from big box store so that it lasts.  Previous model used ¾ inch dowel rod and it worked okay but didn't hold up to weather. (Either will fit with this model).   

This version also uses a sealed stainless steel bearing (once again to hold up to weather. (Amazon 20x37x9mm Stainless Steel Double Shielded Deep Groove Ball Bearings)

It also uses 4x M3x8 or M3x10 to act as set screws to hold the bearings in place.

All can be printed without supports.  For bottom just print it upside down and for legs place flat on outer face.

Fits my Pentair filter with 6 inch opening.

2024-06-26: Added version with Top for 3 inch opening.  Original bottom opening should work with 3 inch top.
2025-06-27: Added Bottom v3.  It can accommodate filters with an opening as small as 2 inches and as wide as 7 inches.
