4 stainless steel “608” bearings.
These are the same as the spooler bearings that come with the Prusa MINI.
8 cap screws (M3-15 or M3-16)
8 nuts (M3)
Foam rubber sheet with adhesive on one side.
Recommended thickness: 2mm to 4mm.
Prepare four pieces cut to 16mmx14mm.
Affix these to the bottom of the spooler.
Each bearing holder has a specific mounting point. Please check the imprint on the printout.
Make sure that the C-ring is inserted in the correct direction. (Please refer to the attached figure.)
When inserting or disassembling the C-ring, be careful not to injure yourself as it may pop vigorously.
Install all bearings first, and then join the left and right frames together.
No rafts and supports are required for this printing.
!Note!
If you do not apply a non-slip foam rubber sheet, the screw knob will not work as expected! !
If rubber sheeting is not available, attach a small board to the bottom of the frame to give it extra bulk.
*Important Notice
Some users have reported that the screws are difficult to insert.
This may be due to individual differences in the 3DP. For this reason, we have prepared a screw with a larger clearance as an option.
Normally, please print "Screw_knob_Flex_0.2mm_PETG_MINI_1h47m" for the screw. If you have trouble getting it in, try "Screw_knob_Flex(clearance)_0.2mm_PETG_MINI_1h49m".
Since the threaded part is delicate, please print with "0.2mm quality".
The filling rate should be at least 30%.
Use PETG or PLA filament. PETG is recommended in areas with high temperatures.
The recommended infill setting is gyroid or rectilinear.
The screw knob must be printed independently. This is because when printing with other parts, the screw part may be slightly disturbed.
When freshly printed, the screw may get a little stuck. Therefore, it is recommended to run the screw back and forth several times.
