Airbus A320 MCDU

Dimensionally accurate MCDU with models for all buttons and lenses. Designed in 3 layers, with top layer 3D printed and middle and bottom layers either 3D printed, or CNC machined from 3mm acrylic. Designed to be screwed or glued together prior to painting. Mounting into pedestal is with 4mm hex cap screws. DXF and STL files are both included.

Recommend printing in PLA, with 50% infill, 0.15 layer ht, though can be printed with lower infill to save filament. Alternative, split top layer model provided for smaller (Prusa Mini) print beds.

LED annunciator lenses designed to be CNC machined from smoked acrylic, though can be 3D printed in translucent material.

Button caps designed to be either 3D printed, or CNC machined and painted. For backlighting, combination of 3mm Opal acrylic top layer with 2 x 3mm clear acrylic layers works well.

Base layer of panel designed to hold 6mmx6mm LED push switches and 3mm Annunciator LEDs, which are glued in place:
