I am going to start off by saying that I am a total novice and have only been using Fusion 360 for about a month and really only started 3D printing about 4 months ago so this model probably has plenty of novice mistakes. Despite this, the model you see is the model that prints.

I designed this model as there was nothing I could find that satisfied my needs. I know that it is a bit basic but it works.
So far I have only created plates that match the equipment I need racking. I will be uploading more once it has been designed. For example, at some stage I will create a plate that will hold a few Raspberry Pi's. I also plan to create a part that will allow stacking of 2 or more racks. Watch this space!

The model uses standard 1U height plates with standard hole placements (width not standard)
Square holes also accommodate standard Rack/Cage nuts that you can buy from any network supply store.

I used modifier meshes method as demonstrated by Prusa3D to get the infill pattern on the side panels. See this video.

I printed the frame using PLA
The switch slots and 1U blades were printed using PETG for a bit more strength.

To print and assemble the full model you will need…
