Description

Description

A riser for the XTool F1 allowing you to engrave items under the base of your machine. The product prints in several parts. You can decide how high the riser should be, by either printing the included legs or using 20mm diameter tubes cut to the desired length.

Package contents

The quality and fit of the final product may vary depending on the printer, settings and filament you use:

  • XF1-RIS-KIT-PRO_PLATE.3MF - The plate your machine rests on
  • XF1-RIS-KIT-PRO_ADAPTERS.3MF - The adapters between the plate and the legs
  • XF1-RIS-KIT-PRO_FEET.3MF - The front and rear feet that rest on your desktop
  • XF1-RIS-KIT-PRO_LEGS.3MF - The legs you can insert between the plate and the feet

Manufacturing

Start with importing the 3MF files into your favourite slicing software. The print settings are not critical but I recommend you use these settings:

  • Layer height: 0.20mm
  • Supports: on
  • Brim: on, brim width 5mm
  • Wall loops: 3
  • Infill: 15%, Triangles

The material consumption is approximately:

  • 101 grams for the base plate
  • 156 grams for the adapters and feet
  • 108 grams for the legs

Total print time is about 8 hours on a Bambu Labs P1P. This may vary depending on the printer you use, your slicer settings and what your material allows.

Assembly

You’ll need a bit of patience, a hammer and a wooden block to assemble the product.

  1. Ensure the adapter orientation matches with the plate
  2. Carefully position the adapters on to the matching holes in the plate and wiggle them in place
  3. Flip the plate with the adapters over and evenly hammer the pieces together, using a wooden block to avoid damage and distribute the pressure
  4. With the plate still up side down, insert the legs one by one and make sure they’re even and inserted all the way
  5. Ensure the feet orientation matches with the adapters
  6. Evenly hammer the feet onto the legs, using a wooden block to avoid damage and to distribute the pressure
