Designed for Zombicide. these interlocking edges ensure the game board stays together!

I made this customizable version of the edges so it's easier to tweak them to your printer and tiles. This also makes it adaptable to any game with a rectangular board made up of tiles, as long the tiles are thick enough. Open the design in OpenSCAD or use the Thingiverse Customizer.

Print 4 of each to allow for boards up to 3x3, which is enough for most if not all standard scenarios.

To get good results with lengths of both 2 and 3 tiles I had to make the corner pieces slightly larger than the straight connectors. Your results may vary. Try to leave at most 1mm of space around the board after assembly, this is small enough to make the board still feel solid.

Notes:

Initially I tried printing each in two pieces and glued them together afterwards. This requires some fiddling with the lengths to get the resulting size correct but allows multiple pieces to be printed at once. After a few test pieces however I decided I wanted them printed in one piece. I managed to fit it on the 20x20cm bed of the I3 by rotating them 45 degrees and having only a single skirt outline 1 mm away to prime the nozzle. You could also of course half the length of each piece and print more straight connectors, so each tile length requires two pieces. This would also enable use in a 1x4 scenario for example.
