Small Trash Can Base

A replacement base for a small, foot operated trash can. The original base scattered, this is a simplified replacement. 
This was designed for 163 mm inner diameter. In case this will not fit your trash can you can scale it (in x and y) in your slicer. To find the scale factor:

1. Measure inner diameter of your trash can let's assume it is D=175 mm
2. Find scale factor (S) by calculating: D/1.63 (e.g. 175/1.63 = 107.4%)

The Design includes a few small “retaining nubs” you will have to snap the part into the bin past the nubs. If the nubs are to big for your can, simply remove them with a bit of sandpaper This is why the part in the assembly picture has a hole, I used it to help remove / slim the nubs, The original design had larger nubs, now adjusted. Still it could happen that you need to reduce nub size even further. Please do comment, if you print / use this! 

Assembly is very easy: Just press in with the part “sticking out” directly below the pedal. Then flip over, place lever arm between the two “blocks” and secure with a small zip-tie. Done!
