These parts are designed to replace the standard lm8uu with RJ4JP-01-08 polymer bushings. Since you can't clamp them down hard or they'll stop moving you need to tighten them just right to be rigid but keep moving. However, in the original design they would occasionally slide out. So, these parts are designed to house 2 RJ4JP-01-08 bushings on each smooth rod with a brim to stop them from coming out.
