Great looking mod, I do not like a exposed back PCB though just in case i accidently short it. So i made a slip in backplate that latches onto the side arms that hook up the display to the printer. Its a tight fit so you might have to shrink or enlarge it to make it fit if your printer isnt accurate enough.

Supports are reccomended unless you are printing it verticaly straight up. In comparison to the pictures I've closed the gaps on top by making it 2mm taller. And slimmed down the top side nibs to properly fit in without cutting them off. The buzzer hole is again, a tight fit if its too tight sand or file it down a bit.

If printed flat down (reccomended) use supports.
