GimliXK - Tower 3D printer

Jest to projekt drukarki 3D oparty na konstrukcji typu Tower. Jest to rozwinięcie moich dotychczasowych drukarek z serii Gimli. Pomysł na projekt tej drukarki miałem jakieś 3-4 lata temu lecz dostęp oraz ceny profili aluminiowych i prowadnic typu MGN były dość spore.

Cała konstrukcja jest oparta o profile aluminiowe 30x30 oraz 20x20 oraz prowadnice i wózki liniowe 12 i 15mm.

W obecnej chwili drukarka sterowana jest za pomocą Klieppera (Raspberry Pi + skr1.4) lecz przygotowuję również wersję z płytą AIOII z wgranym Marlinem.

Projekt można uznać za prototyp ale już teraz jedna wersja tej drukarki z powodzeniem drukuje bardzo dobrze.

Obecnie pracuje na wersji z lżejszym ekstruderem (Orbiter 2.0) dzięki czemu będzie można drukować jeszcze szybciej.  

Na bieżąco będę wrzucać pliki oraz rysunki techniczne.

This is a 3D printer project based on a Tower design. It is an extension of my existing Gimli series printers. I had the idea for this printer about 3-4 years ago, but the availability and prices of aluminium profiles and MGN type guides were quite high.

The whole construction is based on 30x30 and 20x20 aluminium profiles and 12 and 15mm linear guides and carriages.

At the moment, the printer is controlled by Kliepper (Raspberry Pi + skr1.4), but I am also preparing a version with an AIOII board preloaded with Marlin.

The project can be considered a prototype but already one version of this printer is successfully printing very well.

Currently working on a version with a lighter extruder (orbiter 2.0) so that it will be able to print even faster.
