This is a bracket to mount a 25x7mm LED strip. I was unhappy with existing solutions so I made my own. Its mounted on the rear side of the E-Axis assembly which enables a very tidy integration.
The bracket was printed in Prusament ASA, 0.2mm. The housing was printed in clear PETG 0,2mm.
You will need a slightly longer screw than the original one to mount it to the rear of the extruder. To mount the LED strip, lead the cables through the hole and use a drop of superglue to fix it onto the bracket. The clear housing is a press fit, just be careful since the wallthickness is quiet thin. Use some sandpaper if you can’t quiet push it on.
Make sure the thermistor and heating cardridge cables are in their little pouch. The cables of the LED can be routed along with them to the cable harness. I used 12V LEDs and put a 4.7k resistor in front of them. I then hooked them directly to the PSU of the Einsy board.
