YALT - Just an easy way to check your leveling capabilities. Got everything tuned in? Perfectly assembled machine? PID and input shaping done? Beautiful mesh created? Slicer settings done? Superior bed adhesion?

Then throw this leveling test on your printer with a 400x400+ bed size and give it a go. 🙃

Print time @50 mm/s first layer speed: 9 minutes.
Filament used: 1.3 meters (approx. 4-5 grams).

Recommendations:

  • 0.30 layer height
  • 0.40-0.42 line width (extrusion width)
  • 2 perimeters
  • no skirt ( you can use it, but it's nonsense)
  • enable z hop at least on travel moves (otherwise you'll probably scratch printed lines)
  • disable stealthChop in printer.cfg by commenting it out (x, y, z and e)

The pattern is designed to print in single line extrusions. If everything works out perfect, you should peel of the pattern in one piece afterwards.

Enjoy it! 😘😛 Or demonize me! 🤬😡
