Delta-P fan duct V2-R2 for MK3S(+) extruder

July 27 2022 house keeping note:

Somehow, reviews and makes for the older version of this fan duct have been showing up on this page, and reviews and makes for this updated version were showing up on the old versions page as well. To hopefully fix this, and to make sure that everyone is downloading the latest and greatest, I have deleted the old models from the site.

If you are unsure of which version you have printed and installed, check the bottom of the duct for an embossed “V2” marking. If you don't see this marking, I recommend downloading and printing the updated version from this page since it does perform quite a bit better than the original.

This is version 2 (V2) of the Delta-P fan duct for MK3. It has several advantages compared to the stock fan shroud:

• Prints easily with no supports
• Better part cooling
• Refined flow path
• CFD optimized
• Even cooling front to back and left to right
• Improved visibility of nozzle

Print guidelines:

• 0.20mm layer height
• 4 perimeters
• No supports
• PETG, ABS, ASA, or other high temp material

Installation Instructions:

Installation complete! It is recommended to do a PID tune of your hotend after installation.

  Added slot for square nut in the duct mounting boss. Requires using updated cover with wider duct mounting slot. Compatible parts are both marked “V2 R2.2”. The R2.2 duct will not work with the old cover so be sure to print up the new one! Also added installation instructions to this page.
• 7 April 2021 - Minor model change to improve bridging at exits.
