Voron 2.4 Roller Bearing Type Spool Holder. OEM style and location.

This is a roller bearing style spool holder that replaces the oem spool holder, in the same location as stock. it will accommodate standard size spools up the 75mm wide with a 40mm or bigger hole diameter.

The roller and the body each have a integral support that will need to be snapped off after printing and thrown away.  The support's can be stuck pretty good, so don't be afraid to grab some plyers and use force.  You can always print another part if you break it.

You will need one standard Voron size m3 heat set insert for the spool cap screw.

When you install the 608 bearings into the roller, you will probably need to use a mallet to tap the bearings into place. They are a press fit.    The inner race should slip onto the body and end caps bearing axles pretty easily.

Note:  This fits against the 2020 rail in the back, and has a clearance slot for the back panel. It assumes you followed the instructions in the Voron manual and used 1mm foam tape on the back panel.  

If you deviated from the instructions and used 3mm tape on the back panel, then you can't reasonably blame me or this design when it doesn't fit.  I can't anticipate and accommodate every possible part variation that others may use when they deviate from the manual.

2ea m3 T-nuts

1 m3 heat set insert

1 m3x8mm SHCS

2ea 6082rs or 608zz bearings.
