Use this to make your own routing guide for your door hinges. Much cheaper than buying the festool alternative, and just as effective.
This template can be used to create a recess for your hinges directly in your door, or to create a larger template from a piece of scrap wood. Just use double sided tape to stick the template to your workpiece and start routing :)
The template is created for a hinge with a height of 89mm, but it can be easily adjusted using Fusion 360.

Larger template from scrap wood
In the attached picture I show the scrap wood template I made. You can screw this to your door for increase stability while routing.
You make this template by using the 3D printed routing template, and aligning it with one edge of your scrap wood piece. Measure out the distance you like between the hinges and use a templating bit to copy the 3D printed template onto the wooden template.
The pegs help with alignment, both when routing into the door as well as routing into the door frame. Make sure your wooden template aligns perfectly with the top of the door, and use some playing cards as spacers when mounting it in the door frame. That way you have some space between the door and the frame, preventing them from scraping against each other.
