1.75mm Filament splicer tool

It never fails.
I always seem to have a partial spool of filament that isn't enough to do a project with.
This is my attempt at using all my partial reels of filament.
You simply clamp the two pieces together and slide a piece of filament in from each end of the tool then place both ends against a soldering iron. Once the filament becomes fluid push one end of the filament into the other and allow it to slide back into the body of the tool to cool. 
Clean up any bulge at the joint with hobby knife, razor blade, sandpaper, etc… and load it into your machine.

I printed this tool from PLA with my standard settings.
