So I couldn't find this anywhere else so I figured I'd make one. My Makita finishing sander came with one, but I guess that's normal for square, latch-y type sanders. It's a jig to punch the vacuum holes in your 5" sanding discs. I mean, not that YOU would need it because YOU probably bought your discs to match your sander, not try and reuse a bunch of discs with no holes you bought for a different tool, right!? ;)
This has (8)8mm spikes equally spaced with centers at about 65mm diameter around the disc. This will probably work for others, but I based the design off my DeWalt DWE6423 5" random orbit disc sander.
I printed this with .32mm layer height and 35% infill.
Pics are from the first print I made. After testing I increased the spike height by 2mm. This should make the holes a bit better.
