You too can be the Prince of Wallachia wearing this medallion! ;)

As I was researching the original Dracula from the 1931 movie, I found some interesting facts and assumptions. In the movie, Count Dracula (Bela Lugosi) had a specific collar order/medallion around his neck. It is speculated that the inspiration for the medallion was the old Ottoman military Order of the Medjidie. So I used it as the base for my version of the medallion. The inscription is the Latin phrase DRACO NVNQVAM VERE MORITVR (Dragon never truly dies). The center point on the Star is the dragon siluette, because DRACULA is actually Vlad III, aka Vlad Dracula, Vlad Dracul, or Vlad the Dragon.

The star measures 9x8 cm, and the complete medallion is 13x8 cm.

The link has to be glued to one of the mini stars, and then the halfmoon can be attached to the link. There is also a link on the halfmoon, so you could wear it on the red ribbon. Optional sanding and painting are needed.
