These parts are designed directly on the CAD model provided by Tony from Floatwheel.
These are 3D printable versions of the footpads for anyone who wants to replicate them either in the original version or in the wide version.
Obviously, for those who opt for the wide version, a custom-made griptape whose measurements are at least 230mm x270mm will be necessary. You can opt for example for the following product: IGNITE FOAM GRIP TAPE - BLANK 11"X12".
On these models all the ribs required for injection molding have been removed so as to have a clean lower surface. However, supports are necessary as the original bumpers have an upward sloping surface and a pocket for the handle. Furthermore, the features for housing the sensor PCB are necessary.
As for the threads, the holes are sized to accommodate the following threaded inserts for plastic:
M5x10 (6.4mm holes)
M2.5x5 (4mm holes)
Suggest to use long type threaded inserts to prevent them from tearing.
I attach the dimensions of the Ruthex threaded inserts in the pictures
These parts have not been tested, so if you suggest any changes, write it in the comments, we can fix it
The recommended materials are PLA+ or PETG.
A flexible version is being developed to obtain a cushion effect, however special care is required near the inserts which can easily tear from the flexible material.
Have fun!
