ASSEMBLY

When joining the top and bottom parts to the middle part, be aware that each part belongs to one part specifically. The side with 4 knuckles on the hinge belongs to the top part of the easter egg pokeball and the bottom belongs to the 3knuckle part. Also, you should always connect the back pin first, so it’s easier for you to assemble. You have to bend the middle part to fit all the pins together but the thin material allows that quite easily.

There are now two versions of the hinge. One that prints as a working hinge straight away and one that has a hole through it for you to put 1.75 mm filament in if for some reason your printer or slicer fuses the first version together.

PRINTER SETTINGS

There are two versions of the model, one of them has walls with 1mm of thickness and the other has 2mm. The one in the pictures was printed at a 0.2 mm layer height using Fillamentum PLA filament. Total print time is about 3 to 4 hours, depending on which wall thickness you choose. All parts should be printed as they are set in the files.

SCALE

At 100% scale, the pokeball is about 10cm tall. You can scale it up or down, however it was only tested at the normal scale. If you scale it down be aware that if you don’t have a thinner nozzle it might not print.
