This simple desktop puzzle can be printed in various colors or as a single unit. This may take some mental work to figure out how it works for the first time, but once you know how it goes together, you will frustrate your friends at how easy it is to do.
To put it together, there are two pieces in each of the 3D planes (X, Y, and Z) and they face in opposite directions from each other (see image).
Prints with no supports. I would also recommend using three perimeters or walls to increase the stiffness of each piece.
(for a total of six pieces per version)
I would print the bullet ones on a smooth plate to capture the bottom detail. for the crayon or cylinders, I use a textured plate.
I have yet to print the crayon one, but I plan to print it in the basic crayon colors as a desk topper for a teacher. ***UPDATE *** Pictures of the crayon one are added.
