Philips Hue Play light bar 3/8" mic stand ball mount

Required parts:

• Printed parts:
  • “Ball mount”
  • “Clamp part 1”
  • “Clamp part 2”
  • “Clamp base” or “Clamp base 90 degrees”
• Other parts:
  • M4 x 20mm screw
  • M4 nut
  • M3 x 8mm screw (You can also use the screw that is included with the Hue Play bar)

Written instructions:

1. First put the M4 nut into clamp part 2 (Note: It can be a bit tough to get the nut in, see the video above for a for a good way to get it in)
    
2. Get either the clamp base or clamp base 90 degrees. (The clamp base is used in the example images below)
   
    
3. Put either clamp part 1 or part 2 on the connector
   
    
4. Put the ball mount in the round socket
   
    
5. Put the other clamp part on the other side and screw the M4 screw in.
   
    
6. Screw the Play bar onto the ball mount with the M3 x 8mm screw and make sure the V-shape of the printed part is aligned with the V-shape on the Play bar
    
7. Screw the whole thing onto a 3/8" mic stand and you're done!
