Cute Spider Toy: The Witch

This is the first model in a bright, weird and somewhat surreal series of cute spiders in dressup costumes. Now you may be wondering … why would a spider go to all the trouble of wearing a creepy costume when they are already … well … a spider? I don't have a clever answer to that. All I can say is that I am having a blast making weird costumes for arachnids and if you're interested, I'd love to share some of 'em with you!

A quick guide to trouble free printing:

Legs:

• Lay the model on its knees, NOT its feet.
• Add a 5mm brim.
• Print it quite slowly.
• Turn on Z hops.

Head:

• Position the model on the bed using the flat section at the back of the spider's head.

Eyes:

• Print them slow and at fine detail.
