My contribution for Halloween 2023 is a series of printable Halloween-themed figures, all in a sitting pose.

They might not be as scary as other offerings, but I figured (no pun intended) they would make fun and simple decorations and accompaniments. They're also open to being customised, whether with different colours or with new heads/hairpieces/accessories.

While they might look like a familiar red-squared brand, these figures are original designs created from scratch - and aren't intended to be compatible with said brand.

History

Along with the plain figure, there are three Halloween-themed options, each based on creations from past Halloweens.

This year's character is Spooky Girl: influenced by the Collectible Minifigure of the same name, and wanting to go in a different direction to anything else I've seen so far. It wasn't long ago that many people were infatuated/obsessed with Wednesday Addams.

Future plans

It is my intention to introduce a new Halloween-themed character every year from now on, aiming to be just a little more creative than the common/garden characters you've seen. I already have a few ideas for next year.

However, I would also really like to see what other people come up with! You're more than welcome to take a shot at designing your own heads, hairpieces and accessories for this figure.

How to print

For best results, print each part with the flattest side touching the bed.

You might be able to get away with not using supports for the body and the skeleton/plain heads, but they are necessary for the pumpkin head, bandanna and spooky girl hairpiece.

NOTE: at its regular size, I had to print the spooky girl hairpiece upside down (as pictured) for success. Not only was it more secure, but it used a lot less material.

Show me your makes!

If you decide to print these, and especially if you have a go at customising them, I'd really like to see how they turned out.
