Trough feeder for chick brooder

I needed an additional area for our chicks to feed so I drew up this simple trough. Edges are rounded which may be safer for the birds, but a coupe of them like to walk around on or in it. No issues with this as of writing this.

I place the trough on a section of 2x4 for some added height. I have also tried placing it touching the actual bottom of the stock tank and brought bedding up the sides a bit. So there are options for whatever your chicks like.

Added a print file, but I would print whatever is cleanest/fastest for your set up. Chicks don't seem to mind the thick layer height (: Also use a filament suitable for the temperature of your brooder.

Our chicks this round are two Super Blues, two Snowy White Easter Eggers, one Deleware, one Barnevelder (rooster?), two Buff Orpingtons, two (probably) Partridge Rocks, two Austrolorps (or maybe Jersey Giants)
