Description

Description

Slide Extension jigs slot into the rails of your XTool F1 slide extension. The included PDF drawing includes a centre mark for you to design your XCS or LightBurn templates around. The same drawing can be used for both the A and B variants. The jigs have a window on both sides so you can adjust your X-offset with precision to match your design or template.

Package contents

The quality and fit of the final product may vary depending on the printer, settings and filament you use:

  • All 3MF file names ending with A are designed to exact dimensions and are recommended only if your filament does not shrink.
  • All 3MF file names ending with B are over-dimensioned with 0.5mm to ensure your blanks will fit, even if your filament shrinks a little bit.

Manufacturing

Start with importing the 3MF file into your favourite slicing software. Please note that you will need to print 2 of the PLUG files to complete a single jig. The print settings are not critical but here are the settings I used:

  • Layer height: 0.20mm
  • No supports
  • Wall loops: 2
  • Infill: 15%, grid

Assembly

Click the plugs in to the slots on both sides of the jig and make sure they’re pushed all the way down. Your jigs are now ready for use.
