This small platform with two brick studs lets you to display your minifig collection on the panels of your QUBE 500 case. An added bonus of using a QUBE Case is that your figures will be nicely arranged in rows and columns.
You can fit 45 of them on the larger side panel and 20 on the front in a perfect grid pattern. They space out nicely to match the hole patterns in the case. The front panel can fit five horizontal rows of four, and the side panel fits five rows of nine.
The primary two challenges of this design are to position the figure to fit backpack accessories, and to ensure a good grip on the feet that is not too tight or loose.
Fits capes, jetpacks, and dress blocks
The minifig feet clip firmly onto the two studs and are placed a small distance out in space from the case, so that capes and backpacks will fit between the case and the figure. The larger dress lower block also fits too. The platform thickness is the width and height of a brick plate.
Three stud sizes let you pick the best fit option
Included are three variants with slightly different brick stud sizes, so you can find print a looser or more tightly fitting one if needed. Start with the medium fit first.
Optionally, you can always superglue a real 1x2 or 2x2 brick plate onto the the platform's two studs too, and then place the minifig onto that plate for a perfect tolerance fit.
