Music Note Duration Manipulatives

I designed these 3D note and rest models for utilization in 5th and 6th grade music classrooms. These models serve as manipulative tools that allow students to construct rhythmic measures. Each model features a backing plate of varying length, corresponding to the note's duration. 

My plan was to manufacture the model's plate using white PLA filament, slice the model at a height of 3.95mm, and construct the note on top of the plate with black PLA filament. This approach provides visual clarity for the manipulatives. 

Afterward, you can print individual boxes to hold sets for easy distribution with students in class. I printed Gridfinity Boxes that can stack on top of each other and easily store the manipulatives for later use.
