I have a bucket I take with me when I use my chainsaw. It holds my bar oil, tip grease tool, pliers, extra chains. etc. I just bought a battery operated Makita saw. Throwing the extra batteries down into the bucket just felt like a bad idea. I made a bucket mount. A pilot hole must be drilled through the bucket and the inner wall of the outside portion of the mount for the screw size you chose. I drilled the mount using a drill press to avoid accidentally drilling through the outside of the mount. The batteries lock in place so they won't come off the mounts when being bounced around.
