This project is based on Joshua Taylor Recreator 3D MK5 project kit, allowing the conversion of an Anet A8 3D printer into a 1.75mm recycled PET filament making machine.

It is suggested to print the geared parts in PETG at 4 walls and strong infill. The feet should be printed in TPU. All other parts can be printed in PLA.

Required materials are:

  • 2 - 2040 proflies or a 13x40cm wood/MDF board;
  • 26 - M4x8mm hex screws;
  • 26 - M4 T-nut for 2020;
  • 1 - 625zz D-POM bearing;
  • 1 - L bracket for the heating block
  • 1 - 130x50x10mm MDF board for the hotend.

  • 2004 LCD mount/faceplate;
  • Anet A8 board mount;
  • right case for Anet board and LCD mount;
