Frosthaven Boss Proxy: The Relic

Hi everyone - here's my proxy model for the Frosthaven Boss, the Relic!  This model was a lot of fun to make; the first face of the cube was mostly re-creating the greebles that exist in the artwork, but after that it was open season on whatever crazy machinery I might imagine!  Optimizing it for printing was another story though, as all of those 90 degree protrusions became overhangs, not to mention all of the islands formed by the downward facing teeth of gears!  So, I added a lot of cheat geometry and slanted edges and all of the other little tricks that I've learned to make models easier to print, which certainly helped… but there are still several points that are going to need supports for this to print correctly.  Fortunately, there aren't “layers” of support required, so it was super easy to snap off the support trees.
