Created a few nameplates/decorations and a hanger mount for a Qube 500.
Designed a hanger mount based on the base single hole mount. It allowed me to print the nameplates flat with some small inbuilt supports. They clip into the nameplate so it can be mounted on the Qube. Included a step file hanger cutout tool that can be used to cut the hole required to use my hanger mount.
A couple of decorations I have made so far are a JK Flip Flop and a LED segment inspired MY QUBE.
You can use the hanger mount for other accessories as well.
Also included a test part for testing the tolerances of the hanger, if you want to test the hanger before printing a larger model.
Have included a blank canvas step file so you can create your own designs.
Printing: I printed with a 0.4 nozzle at 0.2 layer height. Works with PLA or PETG. The files have inbuilt supports in the holes for the hanger mounts. They remove easily with a small screwdriver or knife.
If you don't want to use the inbuilt supports, they are separate bodies in the step files so you can hide them if required.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
