This tire will not just make your keys really good looking, it is designed to fit the metal link of a lanyard keychain you probably have at home.
It fits hinges up to 3mm in diameter, with a minimal inner width of 14mm and up to 31mm outer width.
I printed the tire from rPETG at 0.1mm detail profile, ironing layers 10.0mm and top layer (11.2mm). You have to print supports below the groove for the metal link.
Let me know if you print it from TPU, I have not tried that.
The rim was printed in rPLA at 0.15mm quality profile with a 4mm brim since it warped a bit on first try. No supports required for the two parted rim.
Please note that the parts are a very tight fit (0.05mm) and may require some force to assemple. I had to press gently with my thumb - no tools or high forces needed.
I added three bores of 3mm to accurately align the profile during assembly.

Apply a thin coat of glue to the inner diameter and the plane and fit the pins in place (i used threaded rods M3).

Now put both halves together and apply some pressure. Let it cure for a while - depending on the glue. I had UHU Plast at hand, stacked about 3kg on top and let it cure for 1,5 hours. It may take a few hours for the glue to completely bond the plastic because it softens it to create a strong connection when cured.

Thats it, now enjoy your new stylish key-accessory and share your results!
Happy printing!
This lovely project was inspired by this beauty of a tire which probably is a bit oversized for our keys :(
