Instax photos are really cute and make for a nice little present when you meet with friends and family that you dont see in a long time. I designed these little frames to turn an Instax into a little present I can give to my loved ones, and also as a way to keep my favorite ones nicely framed.
The model is composed by two parts: a little tray for the picture and a lid that snatch-fits into the tray border, creating a closed frame with a minimalist look.
The download includes different lids that you can choose mix and match, and two bases, one with a hoop for a keychain and a plain one, without the hoop.
Check the video to see how nicely they fit:
I recommend using at least 30% infill for these parts, otherwise you'll risk breaking the little tabs that snatch into the base. I used PLA because I had more color options, but I think PETG could be a great choice here.
Make sure to flip the lids so that the top face is printed as first layer. A full set (base + lid) takes approximately 30 minutes to print on the MK4.
