Description

PDF

I've added a STL folder, Alternative, with slightly larger inner diameter (0.4 mm larger) for Mount and Connect. You may use them instead of the original tight fit.

Look at this 30 sec video (Don't know how long the video will be there, maybe forever)

https://photos.app.goo.gl/TUJGBfnG6U2SrKN79

The hex grid lid (.stl-file) must be printed upside down i.e.  y = 180 degrees,  otherwise it is straight forward, just print.

I have printed with PETG but it should be all right to print with PLA as well, even though the prints should be outside.

You should put reed or bamboo (with holes) inside the tube and attach the hex lid, then the bees should be protected against predators.

If you want to put two or more hex bodys together just print some connectors.

If you want, you can use the mount to attach it to a wall.

(The file name prefix, BiBo, means just Bee Nest :-) )

At last, I hope the bees will like it :-)
