A minor remix of Jamie's Gridfinity openSCAD glue_stick holder so they can hold bottles of Mission Model, paints, and thinners.

I'm new to openSCAD, and my changes were brute force and may break if you try parametric changes in the openSCAD models. If you change the number of bins, you must edit the list of translated vectors to reposition the holes.

I'm attaching the bins to a 3 x 4 screw-together base designed by Kyle Warren: https://www.printables.com/model/300603-gridfinity-screw-together-baseplate/comments/1145753.

Updated: 2024.07.22

I added a version of 8 mission model paint bottles.

The bins were printed on a Prusa XL using Keene Village Performance PLA. While more expensive, the KV performance PLA has superior heat deformation properties, 144 C vs. 55 C for regular PLA.

They can be easily printed at your favorite print settings. The settings I used were:

- 0.6 mm nozzle
- 0.25mm Speed
- supports from the build plate
- no brim
- 15% infill

Differences of the remix compared to the original

I based my design on the glue_stick.scad model. I increased the size to a 2x4Gridfinity bin for six paint bottles and two thinner bottles, removed the glue_stick cutout, and added cutouts of two sizes of bottles.

I decreased the magnet hole diameter down to 6mm. I've found that they can be pressed and fitted into a 6mm hole, and glue is unnecessary to stay put.
