Since the Prusa XL with its quite hard feet transmits vibrations and noise to the ground, I have made a foot which reduces the vibrations through foam pads for speakers and thus makes the printer much quieter.
You need a total of 6 pads, two for the front and four for the back, because the printer weighs much more there.
I've built a support body into the model, you can of course remove it and print with normal support structures.
Be sure to print it with 90 to 100% infill, also I don't recommend using PLA as it is not permanently pressure resistant.
I'm using the following foam pads: http://bit.ly/46JA3L0
They are available in different hardnesses, I have only used them in the color brown because this is the right hardness for my MK3 printer including the concrete slab. I use them under all printers and they do an excellent job compared to the numerous noise reduction methods that can be found elsewhere.
I don't know in which countries they are available, but you can easily adapt the model to other manufacturers' pads with the f3d.
Note that it is questionable how this affects the input form, since the current firmware doesn't support this yet.
