Here I have my model for the Amban Pulse Rifle seen in The Mandalorian.
Full scale, has a length of almost 170cm.
I made this as a request from a customer, there were many other models available online but I wanted to implement two steel rods into it to give it some real strength as it is nearly 170cm long. If you want to use steel supports like I did, you'll need…
10mm diammeter 955mm in length
4.8mm diammeter 829mm in length
If you don't plan on using steel you can print out 10mm and 4.8mm cylinders to use as connectors between each part, I recommend 100% infill on these for max strength. Alternatively you can also use wooden dowels or PVC Pipes.
If you're from the UK, there is a great website 'metals4u.co.uk' that will cut these to size for you at no extra cost.
I have cut out some holes for M3 5mm socket screws to be inserted for extra detial, NOT ESSENTIAL.
The stock connects to the rest of the body via 6 screws, these are essential for best stability but could also just be glued on.
All the parts are split by colour as always. A lot of the parts will need splitting in half and splitting to seperate objects (Right click on model to use split tool) in order to fit them on the build plates properly. If your slicer doesn't allow you to do this, I recommend using Prusa Slicer. I have attached my Bambu build plates that has already laid out the parts in the correct orientations and split to size. If you don't have a Bambu printer you can still use this for reference if you just download slicer.
